Special Events We have Hosted... July 2000, The National Governors Conference was held in State College PA. Governor Tom Ridge's wife Michelle hosted a High Tea for the spouses at The Reynolds Mansion. Many of the First Ladies in attendance commented that their mansions weren't nearly as grand as The Reynolds Mansion, others hoped to return in the future for a stay. February 2001, The final celebration for the Centre County Bicentennial was held at The Reynolds Mansion. Attended by prominent citizens of the county, many in Victorian costume, The Reynolds Mansion provided a most elegant setting to honor the county's heritage. We have been Featured In ... Volume 14 of Country Victorian, The Reynolds Mansion was on the cover, and in an article entitled "Rooms for Royalty" by Deborah Marie Follner. "Guests of The Reynolds Mansion enjoy their breakfast served in gracious Victorian style. On chilly days a fire blazes from the hearth, and candles are lit on the mantle and table."
