Bellefonte, PA, is home to an extraordinary weekend called Victorian Christmas. This three-day event takes place Friday, December 7 through Sunday, December 9, 2018. Visitors from all over the state come for the wholesome, old-fashioned holiday fun. The Opening Ceremonies kick off the weekend in front of the Courthouse on Friday at 7:00 pm. Be greeted on the front steps by Dickens & Company and serenaded by the Bellefonte Community Band from the balcony of the Brockerhoff House. Enjoy entertainment by Elementary Grade School Choirs, St. John’s Elementary School Choir, and other special performances. Enjoy a Hot Chocolate and Cookie reception after the ceremony (place to be determined and announce at the ceremony). One of the highlights of the weekend is the Santa Express train rides. Tickets for the train rides sell out fast so if you’re interested, go to Bellefontetrain.org to purchase in advance.

Over the past eight years, the Reynolds Mansion participated in the Homes’ Tour and hosted Victorian High Teas for ninety plus people per year. Additionally, Tricia volunteers to conduct the Bellefonte Victorian Christmas Choir. Tricia and Mike believe in community service and feel that this is one of the highlights of the year. Unfortunately, due to family commitments, the Reynolds Mansion will not be holding the High Teas and will not be a part of the homes’ tour this year. You can see Tricia conduct the choir (and Mike sing) on Saturday at 4:00 pm at Trinity Church. There are also a few rooms still available for those traveling from out of town. Please see our website reynoldsmansion.com. Stay two nights – you don’t want to miss any part of this wonderful holiday event! We’ll see you there!
